Montgomery County Community College in a collaborative partnership with the Montgomery County Chambers Of Commerce, a joint venture of the King of Prussia and Montco Chambers, are offering 3 professional development, non-credit, courses at the historic King Of Prussia Inn this fall. The Inn is centrally located on Bill Smith Boulevard, ¼ mile from the King Of Prussia Mall. Classes are open to anyone but register early! Class size is limited.

  
STARTING YOUR OWN BUSINESS
  

This 6 week evening workforce development seminar series features experts from the field with topics to help you successfully start your own business. Included will be overviews of the law of establishment, accounting/bookkeeping practices, advertising/marketing, banking relationships and potential government assistance.

MAKING SUCCESSFUL PRESENTATIONS
   

This workshop focuses on techniques and practices that should place you in control of your presentations and make you an effective communicator. You will explore other presenting situations that professionals encounter, such as introductions, questions and answers, meeting reports, conference presentations, telephone exchanges and computer assisted teleconferencing.

PRACTICAL PROJECT PLANNING FOR SMALL BUSINESSES
   

Project planning isn’t just for big business – small businesses can benefit from practical project planning and management, too. Lean how think about, plan, carry out and evaluate a small short term work project. Office managers, small business owners, executive assistants and anyone who works for a small business and who needs to learn how to manage projects better will benefit.
