Am-E-Lyn Donuts has been a Norristown treasure for the last ten years. Ray Barkmeyer and his wife Joanna named the store after their three daughters, Amy, Emily, and Lyn. You might recognize Ray Barkmeyer’s name, and that is because he along with his family and son-in-law are the owners of Suzy-Jo Donuts in Bridgeport. Am-E-Lyn Donuts serves the same daily fresh homemade donuts as Suzy-Jo, as well as apple fritters and cinnamon twirls. Most of Am-E-Lyn’s business is retail sales, but they do offer wholesale products as well. The donuts are made fresh daily with only the finest all natural ingredients. Just like the sister store Suzy-Jo, Am-E-Lyn offers a selection of over forty varieties of delicious donuts and coffees.
