Viggiano’s Italian Restaurant serves southern Italian cuisine in a casual, family atmosphere. Brother and sister team, Chef/Owner Mark Viggiano and General Manager, Jennifer Viggiano recently celebrated three years of success at this lovely Conshohocken eatery.
From the moment you walk in this restaurant, you will be charmed with traditional Italian music that gives you al feeling of familiarity and a genuine welcome. Browse through the restaurant, which is decorated with generations of Viggiano family photos and colorful murals designed and painted by family members.
While waiting for your table, you may sample Sandcastle wines at their retail store located in the restaurant or you may bring your own bottle and dine. Some of Viggiano’s delicious appetizers include Calamari, Roasted Peppers, Grilled Portabella Mushrooms, and their specailty, an Antiopasto Platter. The delightful entrees come in two sizes; piccolo is an individual portion and grande serves two guests. Some popular entrees are Seafood Fettuccini, Eggplant Parmesan, Lasagna, Veal Mediterranean, and Grilled Salmon. Daily specials are created by the Chef, including the Saturday special Veal Saltimbocca. This guest favorite is prepared with tender medallions of veal seasoned and sauteed with sage, prosciutto and fontina cheese in a chardonnay wine demi-glaze.
For your grand finale at Viggiano’s you must try one of their homemade desserts. Choose from Riccotta Cheesecake or, the family’s favorite, Zucchetto! If you cannot decide on one dessert, you can try a Sampler Tray of all the different desserts and a Cappuccino, Latte or Espresso.
